An overlooked, modern-day Edward Hopper, self-taught artist, Janet Ternoff, creates these captivating oil paintings of her hometown, New York, without people, appropriate for today’s climate. They look so realistic, I can almost feel the water on the pavements, the damp air and the warmth radiating from inside the low-lit shops and buildings.
You can find all of Ternoff’s work for sale on her website.
