When I’m walking around Brighton, my eye is trained to look up and around in search of new discoveries. I’m also trained to look down, since I started hunting for vintage shop entrance mosaics. Much like the Paris floors photographer, Sebastian Erras, who through his Instagram account, reminds us that looking down is just as rewarding as looking up when it comes to discovering cafés, bars, streets and addresses in his home city of Paris.

Last month, however, I was excited to see he’d temporarily left the City of Light, emerging shiny-shoed onto the streets of London. So for a few days, I let his feet be my new London city guide. Here’s are some of his discoveries:
